Sunderland District Safety Group

The Sunderland District Safety Group is celebrating its 50th year during the 2010/11 season. It is a non-profit making organisation, which is affiliated to RoSPA (The Royal Society for the Prevention of Accidents).

The format of each meeting includes input from the HSE, who impart news and views on current health and safety issues - including their latest publications. Also, there is usually a speaker who addresses attendees on a topical health and safety issue. Meetings are held between 2.00 and 4.00 pm on the third Thursday of each month, September to June inclusive. The next meeting will be held on Thursday 21st. October.

The venue is the Conference Centre, Hylton Centre, City of Sunderland College, North Hylton Road, Sunderland, and we shall be delighted to welcome you. If anyone with an interest in health and safety at work would like to attend all they have to do is come along to one of the meetings. For further information please click to contact the Press Officer Gill Cogdon, or contact the Secretary Donna McTernan.
